Policies and Protocols
Intake process
Each new client has to fill out an intake form and a consent form before any services can be provided.
Covid policy .
1.) Any clients who are feeling sick or experiencing flu likes symptoms or have come down with covid. will have their appointment reschedule two weeks out. also, if a client lives with any family members who come down with covid we will reschedule the appointment two weeks out. this is for everyone safety.
2.) All equipment and sheets are clean and sanitize before and after every session.
3.) it's a client choice if they wish to wear a mask or not. I bring a mask just in case if a client wishes for me to wear one.
4.) if a client wishes to know if I am vaccinated, I will let the client know.
5.) If I come down with Covid I will let all clients know so they can get tested. I do not wish Covid onto any client, but safety and well-being are most important in my line of work.
6.) No client will be charge for canceling due to, or Emergency.
7.) I will also clean and sanitize my hands before and after each session.
8.) All tools I use are clean before and after each session this includes Bamboo sticks and Hot stones.
Massage session protocol
The massage therapist will start by reviewing your intake form with you and going over with the client with the reasons why they are coming in for and so I can create the best massage for their needs. I will than leave the treatment room so the client can get comfortable and on the table under the sheets. the client or therapist can end a session at any time for any reason. After the session is over, I will leave the room while the client gets dress and before the client leaves will go over some ways to help with their needs at home for self-care.
Services and Contraindications
1. If any clients have any medical conditions or allergies that could affect the massage in a negative or harmful way. I will discuss and work with the client so we can make that best massage service for them. safety is most important.
2. Massage therapist or Client has every right to choose to except a massage or end a massage at any time.
3. Weather conditions - if weather conditions are a conflict with the mobile services we will reschedule to a later date and time.
4. There is no cancelation fee to my mobile services.
5.- Enhancements- Enhancements or Add- on such as Hot stones or Hot bamboo have a 15minute prep time between multi sessions, this is so I can proper clean them for the next client.
6.) Enhancements- Some services such as Thai massage do not get Hot stones or hot bamboo due to the service requirement.
7.) Environment- I ask all clients that I see to please have a space ready for me to set up when I come to your location. this can be either a basement, room, or living room. I always try to arrive 10 to 15minutes early to set up before a client's session.
Laws and Michigan rules for Massage therapy
My massage services must follow the strict laws and guidelines of the state of Michigan and HIPPA.
Payments
All payments are done after the service is provide, I except cash or card payments. There is also a travel fee if you live outside of the Rochester hills area. I only work in the Oakland and Macomb County area for Now.
Confirming Appointments
Appointments will be confirmed, text and I will contact the client the day of the appointment. If a client does not respond an hour before there appointment. we can reschedule the appointment for a better date and time.
Code of Ethics for Massage services
1.) I will serve each client with the best of my ability and complete professional level, I will honor and respect all my clients' boundaries, I promise to use my knowledge and skill level for healing and not for harm.
2.) I will treat all my clients with equal respect regardless of origin, race, religion, gender, age, or sexual preference.
3.) I will be professional and respectful of my tarot qualifications, including my education and credentials and level of experience.
4.) I will respect my clients if they wish to terminate their Massage at any time, regardless of prior consent.
5.) All clients must fill out an intake form and consent form before service. These forms can be provided online or in person.
6.) By Laws of the state of Michigan, I have every right to except or decline any client of service for any reason.
7.) I will recommend clients to medical professionals with medical issues that I am not Qualified for. if the medical or issues that I am able to help with through massage therapy I will do my best to give the best help for the issue.
8.) I except for payment for services cash or card. I do not except cash type apps, PayPal or checks for massage services.
9.) As a License massage therapist, I will and must follow the state of Michigan laws to provide the services that I offer. I also must follow the rules of HIPPA.
10.) All information a client provides, is held, professionalism, and confidential.
11.) All equipment & Enhancements are properly clean and disinfectant before and after every used. All equipment and enhancements are professionally care for and used for Therapeutic and healthy healing services.
